Kolkata: A youth was found murdered beside a drain near his residence at Shyamlal Lane under Garden Reach police station on Saturday morning. The police has arrested his son-in-law in connection with this.According to police sources, body of 35-year-old Mohammad Sultan was found with a stab wound on his left chest nipple. He was rushed to SSKM Hospital where he was declared brought dead. The police, during questioning of the family members of the deceased and their neighbours, learnt that there was a dispute between the two. The police soon tracked him down from another location of a relative by tracking his cell phone and brought him at Garden Reach police station for interrogation. After prolonged grilling, he admitted his crime and was arrested. He will be produced at Alipore Court on Sunday. Police sources said Arshad bore an old grudge against the victim over some family dispute. In the morning, when the latter ventured out, he followed him with a sharp cutting instrument and inflicted multiple stab injuries on his chest. He died on the spot.
