About the authorPaul VegasShare the loveHave your say Liverpool boss Klopp: Leicester will end season in top fourby Paul Vegas18 days agoSend to a friendShare the loveLiverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists victory against Leicester was well-deserved as they snatched a 2-1 win at Anfield. The Reds were handed a controversial spot-kick deep into stoppage time when Marc Albrighton was adjudged to have brought down Sadio Mane.James Milner calmly slotted home the winner in a result Klopp admits already feels like a huge moment in their season.Klopp told Liverpool’s official website : “So, if you score in the 95th minute with a penalty everybody would say that’s lucky but over the full game we had more chances, we were the better team, so I’m really happy about that.“This one [win] alone feels already big enough, to be honest, because of how difficult this league is [and] how difficult the life of an LFC player is.“I think Leicester at the end of the season will be in the top four and then they will realise how different it is when you play Wednesday, Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday. The quality they have is already good and we all know Brendan, what a sensational manager he is and what he’s doing with them.”

Last week, Ohio State senior quarterback Braxton Miller posted a photo on Instagram that was believed by some to possibly be an NCAA violation. Miller, a rep for Authentik Fitness, promoted the nutritional products in the photo and listed his email as a point of contact for potential buyers. Under NCAA bylaws, student-athletes are not allowed to use their likeness to help companies profit. According to Urban Meyer, though, “everything is fine” and there is “no issue.” Urban Meyer answers @CantonRepdotcom ? About Braxton Miller NCAA endorsement issue “everything is fine. No issue.”— toddporter (@toddporter) March 30, 2015That’s, obviously, good news for Ohio State fans. The Buckeyes open their 2015 season Sept. 7 against Virginia Tech. Will Miller be the man behind center?
Jim Harbaugh fake Twitter followers have some college football fans very suspicious.Ohio State and Michigan have each established themselves as top college football programs this season. The two programs are led by two of the brightest stars in the coaching ranks in Urban Meyer and Jim Harbaugh, respectively. Last night, Meyer hit the one million follower mark on Twitter, a pretty impressive social media milestone. The BEST fans in the land!! Thank you Buckeye Nation! Follow @OhioStateFB too! https://t.co/w6NN39yOh6— Urban Meyer (@OSUCoachMeyer) October 3, 2016According to Eleven Warriors, Meyer was the first coach to hit the million mark. The man with the second-most followers? Harbaugh. Over night, he managed to eclipse the same milestone. The RedditCFB Twitter account checked out the new followers for the head Michigan Man, and found a lot of anonymous egg accounts.Hmm… Urban Meyer hit 1 million followers yesterday and Jim Harbaugh mysteriously gained 5,000 egg followers overnight to match that… ? pic.twitter.com/9JPffzu4Lz— RedditCFB (@RedditCFB) October 3, 2016One YouTube user also noticed the flood of new followers to Harbaugh’s account, and began recording his screen as he refreshed Harbaugh’s follower page.Anyone on Twitter is going to get his or her fair share of fake Twitter followers, but over 5,000 in one night does seem a bit suspicious. It seems a bit fishy that Harbaugh, or someone with access to his account, would go out of the way to game the system in order to keep pace with Meyer, but if anyone in the sport exemplifies that attitude that “everything is recruiting,” it is Harbaugh.

Real Madrid’s Marcelo says that he would welcome national team-mate Neymar to the Spanish capital as rumours continue to swirl about the winger’s unhappiness in Paris.Neymar joined Paris Saint-Germain from Barcelona in 2017, but the Brazil star has been linked with a move away from the club all summer.Madrid have already made some big signings of their own, having added Eder Militao, Luka Jovic and Ferland Mendy this window. Ox-rated! Dream night in Genk for Liverpool ace after injury nightmare Messi a man for all Champions League seasons – but will this really be Barcelona’s? But the club’s biggest signing is former Chelsea winger Hazard, who joined up with the club last month for a €100 million (£88m/$112m) fee.And Marcelo says Hazard has the quality to be considered among the best in the world if he continues on his current pace, but Neymar is already there, making his countryman the superior player right now.”Eden’s a top player,” he acknowledged in an interview with Marca. “A player of high quality and, like Neymar, has the quality to be in the top five.”He’s impressive, you cannot compare them, but Neymar is better for me.”Barcelona have been seen as the favourites to sign the 27-year-old, which would reunite him with former strike-partners Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez as well as new signing Antoine Griezmann.Neymar featured for the Blaugrana from 2013-17, scoring 105 goals in 186 games for the Catalan club after moving to La Liga from Brazilian side Santos. The winger also claimed two La Liga crowns, three Copa del Rey titles, a Spanish Supercup, a FIFA Club World Cup and the 2014-15 Champions League, the last won by Barcelona. However, Marcelo says that he would certainly welcome Neymar in Madrid, despite his Barca past, if his international team-mate decided to leave Parc des Princes and come to the Santiago Bernabeu.”Neymar is an unpredictable player,” Marcelo said.”When defending when you have anticipated something, he has already thought of something else and it’s impossible to defend.”Having Neymar at Real Madrid would be a huge pleasure. Madrid have to do everything to sign the best players in the world and his past at Barcelona would not be a problem.”
